St.Swithun's Prayer Group and chain

I am very pleased to report, that Edith is now feeling more rested and beginning to enjoy a less arduous life-style. Thankfully, Edith's virus had cleared up sufficiently to enable her to enjoy a brief respite holiday just over the border, before embarking on a family break, visiting haunts 'old and new.'Please remember Edith in your prayers and we hope to see her back with us again very soon.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support to me, as I take up the reins for my new venture. To date we have had two meetings, the second of which was very well attended (the lure of a sunny visit to the sea-side perhaps!), when despite outsider noise)-a quiet prayer time preceeded our intercessions for those in need and prayers offered on behalf of Ellen Nicholl, a very loyal member of the choir, who will be admitted to the Group on 11th May at the Pentecost 9.30am Mass. May God Bless Ellen and the work she does for Him.
The Annual outing to Upweyv Tea Rooms, Garden and Well, will take place on Tuesday 22nd July. Please share transport as parking is limited at Upwey. All meet at 2.30 pm at the Church Car park. Please let me know as soon as possible as numbers are required for Teas. Thank you.
